We are aware that the next graphics cards to be reviewed are the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER cards, with TPU's W1zzard working hard to publish evaluations on time for other options in the Ada Lovelace SUPER lineup. The process was briefly interrupted by the release of custom Radeon RX 7600 XT models, but attention has now returned to the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER cards. Reviewers have been testing driver-enabled GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER sample units under strict confidentiality, but leaks are expected. The Benchleaks social media account has been keeping track of emerging test results.
The Geekbench Browser database was updated today with premature test results for the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU. One entry highlighted by Benchleaks provides a quick look at the card's performance in three of Geekbench 5.1's graphics API trials: Vulkan, CUDA, and OpenCL. VideoCardz notes that all of the scores could be flawed, especially the Vulkan result of 100378 points, as the regular GeForce RTX 4080 GPU can achieve almost double that score in Geekbench 6. The other results for the SUPER card include a Geekbench 5 CUDA score of 309554 and an OpenCL score of 264806 points. A late morning entry from an ASUS testbed (PRIME Z790-A WIFI + Intel Core i9-13900KF) achieved a score of 210551 points in Geekbench 6.2.2 Vulkan, which seems to be on target.
