The highly popular space opera RPG, Starfield, has finally received official support for NVIDIA DLSS, along with several other important additions for its PC version. Bethesda Game Studios announced on Wednesday that they will be releasing a "small hotfix patch" for the game, which will introduce some essential features for the PC version. Firstly, it will include support for the 32:9 ultrawide monitor aspect ratio, which is a necessary addition for a space simulation game. Additionally, an FOV slider will be added for better customization. The display settings will now include brightness and contrast controls, as well as an HDR calibration menu. The most significant announcement is the introduction of first-party support for NVIDIA DLSS. It is important to note that the game will be utilizing DLSS 2 for super resolution, rather than the newer DLSS 3 frame generation.
