MSI Leaks Two Models of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Graphics Card Ahead of Launch

Rumors suggest that MSI will release at least eight different models of the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card. Two of these models, the RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio and RTX 4070 Ventus 3X, have now leaked online ahead of the launch scheduled for next week. What makes this launch interesting is that it will be the first RTX 40 series graphics card that will be able to come without the 16-pin 12VHPWR connector.

The MSI RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio is the more premium edition and will feature a 2.5-slot design with a triple-fan cooler, more RGB effects, and the 16-pin 12VHPWR connector. The MSI RTX 4070 Ventus 3X is a more budget-oriented SKU and will have a triple-fan cooling system but only takes up two slots. It also needs a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. Both models are factory-overclocked, but it is obvious that the MSI RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio will have a higher overclocking potential.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 is still rumored to launch on April 13th with an MSRP of $599. The MSI RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio will most likely be a more expensive version, with only the Suprim edition being more expensive. The Ventus 3X and Ventus 2X series are expected to be closer to the MSRP.
