The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has become a reliable source for upcoming product leaks, particularly when it comes to model names. Recently, a range of upcoming motherboards from Gigabyte appeared on the EEC website. These boards are refreshed versions, some of which were showcased at Computex, but most have not been officially announced yet.
On the Intel side, all the new models have an "X" at the end of their names to indicate that they are part of the refresh. Some SKUs will also have WiFi 7 support. The majority of these models are based on the Z790 chipset, except for one custom SKU that is exclusive to a Chinese system integrator.
For the AMD side, Gigabyte is introducing a more affordable X670E SKU called the X670E Aorus Elite AX. The refreshed boards are labeled with a "V2," but it is unclear what changes have been made. Gigabyte is also releasing a few new MicroATX B650 boards, including the B650M Aorus Elite AX Arctic, which features a white and/or silver design. This board will have limited availability and is primarily intended for system integrators. The other two new boards are the B650M A Elite AX Arc (which may be a filing mistake) and the B650M Gaming WiFi, a cheaper alternative to the current B650M Gaming X models. These boards are expected to be available in the autumn, based on Gigabyte's showcase at Computex.
