GMKtec Unveils Advanced AI Mini PC Workstations with Intel and AMD Platforms
At a recent AliExpress event in Shenzhen, GMKtec introduced its latest lineup of AI-powered mini PC workstations, expanding its offerings on both Intel and AMD platforms. These compact systems are engineered to deliver high-performance computing for artificial intelligence workloads, large language models, and demanding desktop applications.
Intel-Powered EVO-T2S: High-Performance AI Computing
The EVO-T2S mini PC is built around Intel’s Core Ultra X7 358H processor, featuring a 16-core architecture and delivering up to 180 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) of AI compute power. This model is equipped with high-speed LPDDR5X-8533 memory and leverages Phison aiDAPTIV+ PCIe 5.0 SSDs for rapid data access. To maintain optimal performance, the system utilizes a vapor-chamber cooling solution capable of handling up to 60 W of thermal output. The EVO-T2S is designed for local AI inference tasks, such as running large language models, while also serving as a robust high-end desktop solution.
AMD-Based EVO-X2 Series: Versatile AI and GPU Workloads
The EVO-X2 series, based on AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, has established itself as a versatile option for AI and GPU-accelerated workloads. This platform offers 16 cores and 32 threads, paired with an XDNA 2 NPU rated at up to 126 TOPS. Supporting up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory and featuring 10 GbE networking, the EVO-X2 is well-suited for intensive AI applications and multi-display environments, with support for up to four 4K outputs.
Updated Pricing and Configurations
Since their initial launch, pricing for GMKtec’s mini PCs has evolved. The AMD-based EVO-X2, which debuted with a 128 GB configuration starting at $1,999, now lists the 64 GB RAM and 1 TB storage model at $1,999, while the top-tier 128 GB RAM and 2 TB storage variant is priced at $3,299. On the Intel side, the EVO-T2S featuring the Core Ultra X7 358H, 64 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage is currently available for $1,899, reduced from its original $2,399 price. At this time, GMKtec has not announced additional memory options for the EVO-T2S, nor has it provided details on availability or pricing for the anticipated Core Ultra X9 388H model.
GMKtec’s latest mini PC workstations highlight the growing demand for compact, AI-optimized computing solutions, offering both Intel and AMD options tailored for advanced inference workloads and high-end desktop performance.
