AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D MicroATX Motherboard Announcement

AMD's Latest Ryzen 9 9955HX3D CPU Now Available on MicroATX Motherboard

Earlier this year, AMD launched the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, a powerful 16-core mobile gaming CPU based on the Zen 5 architecture. Now, Aoostar, a company known for its mini PCs, has announced the release of two versions of a microATX motherboard designed for DIY PC builds featuring this CPU.

Both versions of the motherboard, one with the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX and the other with the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, come with full-size PCIe 5.0×16 expansion slots for dGPU compatibility, two DDR5 RAM slots for dual-channel capability, and dual 2280 M.2 PCIe 5.0×4 slots for storage expansion.

The motherboard is also equipped with a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. The Ryzen 9 9955HX3D stands out for its impressive cache, which includes 64 MB of 3D V-Cache and 64 MB of regular cache. This offering provides a powerful option for those seeking high performance in a smaller form factor, without sacrificing expansion options typically found in traditional mini PCs.

The AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX motherboard is priced at $530 (converted from ¥3799), while the 9955HX3D with 3D V-Cache will be available for $669.53 (converted from ¥4799). It is currently unclear if these motherboards will be available for purchase outside of China.
